85th Academy Awards producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are definitely aiming for a younger audience for the 2013 Oscars. Following on the heels of the announcement that The Avengers cast would be assembling on the Oscar stage comes the news that Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Charlize Theron will put in special appearances at this year’s star-studded event.

The foursome join a list of presenters that includes Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Jean Dujardin, Christopher Plummer, Octavia Spencer, Meryl Streep, Mark Wahlberg and Ted. Musical performers confirmed for the Academy Awards ceremony include Adele, Norah Jones and Barbra Streisand.

Commenting on the new talent added to the list, Zadan and Meron said, “We are quite excited to have Charlize, Chan, Joe and Dan join us on the show. We are happy to feature them as special guests in our production.”

Their appearances on the 2013 broadcast will mark Tatum, Radcliffe and Gordon-Levitt’s first time on the Oscar show.

Theron is a two-time nominee/one-time winner for Monster (and she was nominated for North Country).

Next up: Tatum will be seen in Side Effects and White House Down; Gordon-Levitt wrote and directed 2013’s Don Jon’s Addiction; and Radcliffe has Kill Your Darlings, Horns and The F Word coming out this year.

The 2013 Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 24th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
