So, I think we get the point now – this year’s Oscars are going to be all about music in movies and movie musicals. And the 85th Academy Award producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron just added even more musical entertainment by signing up Oscar host Seth MacFarlane and Kristin Chenoweth to perform a special show-closing musical number.
“After the Best Picture award has been given, Seth and Kristin will perform a special number and we think it will be a ‘can’t miss’ moment,” explained producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
Also set to perform are Jennifer Hudson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit, Helena Bonham, Adele, Dame Shirley Bassey, Norah Jones and Barbra Streisand.
Presenters include Jennifer Aniston, Michael Douglas, Jamie Foxx, Paul Rudd, Salma Hayek Pinault, Melissa McCarthy, Liam Neeson, John Travolta, Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Mark Wahlberg, Ted, Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Jean Dujardin, Christopher Plummer, Octavia Spencer, Meryl Streep, Richard Gere, Queen Latifah, Renée Zellweger, and Zeta-Jones. Special guests include Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Daniel Radcliffe, Channing Tatum and Charlize Theron.
The Oscars will take place on February 24th in Hollywood.
