Warner Bros Pictures released the official trailer for Dunkirk, the WWII action thriller from writer/director Christopher Nolan. The much-anticipated 2017 summer theatrical release stars Tom Hardy (Mad Mad: Fury Road, The Revenant), One Direction’s Harry Styles, Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies), Kenneth Branagh (Hamlet), Cillian Murphy (Inception, The Dark Knight trilogy), Fionn Whitehead, Aneurin Barnard, James D’Arcy, Jack Lowden, Barry Keoghan and Tom Glynn-Carney. Dunkirk is produced by Nolan and Emma Thomas, with Jake Myers executive producing.
The Plot: Dunkirk opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.
