Warner Bros Pictures and Village Roadshow have released the official teaser trailer for the epic action adventure, In the Heart of the Sea. Based on the true story told in Nathaniel Philbrick’s book, In the Heart of the Sea reunites Ron Howard and his Rush star Chris Hemsworth for the tale of the whaling ship ‘Essex’ and the men who faced down the whale who would inspire Herman Melville’s Moby Dick.
In the Heart of the Sea opens in theaters on March 13, 2015 and stars Hemsworth, Benjamin Walker, Cillian Murphy, Ben Whishaw, Tom Holland, Brendan Gleeson, and Jordi Mollà.
The Plot:
In the Heart of the Sea reveals the encounter’s harrowing aftermath, as the ship’s surviving crew is pushed to their limits and forced to do the unthinkable to stay alive. Braving storms, starvation, panic and despair, the men will call into question their deepest beliefs, from the value of their lives to the morality of their trade, as their captain searches for direction on the open sea and his first mate still seeks to bring the great whale down.
