20th Century Fox’s new Logan Super Bowl trailer showed off a few new action clips backed by “Amazing Grace.” Directed by James Mangold, Logan could possibly be the last time well see Hugh Jackman as the steely clawed mutant Wolverine. The cast also includes Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, and Dafne Keen. Logan will open in theaters on March 3, 2017.
Michael Green, Scott Frank, and James Mangold wrote the screenplay. Hutch Parker, Simon Kinberg, and Lauren Shuler Donner produced the R-rated action film.
The Plot: In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
