Warner Bros. Pictures’ new official “Origin” trailer for Wonder Woman delves into Amazon Princess Diana’s physical training and learning to use her mystical bracelets. Gal Gadot (the Fast and Furious franchise) had the honor of announcing the debut of the new trailer on Twitter following her appearance on the Kids’ Choice Awards with co-star Chris Pine. Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman also features Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, and Robin Wright. Warner Bros is planning a June 2, 2017 theatrical release.
The Plot: Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny. “I am Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Hippolyta. In the name of all that is good, your wrath upon this world is over,” declares Gal Gadot in the new Wonder Woman trailer.
