Rixton Sets a Release Date for Their First Album

Rixton Reveals First Album Release Date and 2015 Tour Dates

The popular British group Rixton will be releasing their debut album, Let The Road, on January 6, 2015. The album will mark their first full-length release and will feature songs they co-wrote as well as a song written by Ed Sheeran.

The lyric video for the album’s first single, “Wait On Me,” is now on Vevo. In addition, the song is currently being featured in AT&T’s “It Can Wait” campaign against texting and driving.

Let The Road is something we’re incredibly proud of,” said Rixton’s Jake Roche. “Songs have survived 6 years to make it on this album, back when me and Danny were writing in the caravan having no idea where they would end up. We feel incredibly humbled to be able to share this with our fans, and we hope you enjoy listening to it just as much as we enjoyed making it.”

The band will also be supporting Ariana Grande during her 2015 North American tour. “Being asked to be Ariana’s special guest is a huge honor. We’re massive fans of her and her incredible talent and we’re so excited to play these prestigious venues all over America. We’re also very excited to play some new songs that fans haven’t had the chance to hear live yet,” stated Rixton.
