What’s Hot in 2013 – Movies and Actors

Catching Fire LogoFandango polled 2,000 movie fans to find out which films and what actors they’re most exciting about seeing in theaters this year. The result? It seems moviegoers wants to see the second “Hunger Games” film, “Catching Fire,” and they showered a lot of love on the upcoming “Star Trek Into Darkness” sci-fi action thriller from director J.J. Abrams.
 
In addition to polling fans, Fandango’s Dave Karger has revealed his personal choices for the most anticipated blockbusters of 2013.
 
“From the elegance of ‘The Great Gatsby’ to the amped up action of ‘Iron Man 3,’ 2013 will be loaded with blockbuster originals, sequels and reboots, giving moviegoers of all tastes a bounty of options at the box office this year,” stated Karger.
