ABC will air the Country music-filled holiday special CMA Country Christmas on December 1, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT. Hosted for the fifth year by Jennifer Nettles, the two-hour musical featuring some of the biggest names in Country music, will be filmed in front of a studio audience on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Among the artists scheduled to perform are Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Sara Evans, Lucy Hale, Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Idina Menzel, Nettles, LeAnn Rimes, and Michael W. Smith. Paul Miller is directing the special, David Wild is the writer, and Robert Deaton is executive producing.
Tickets are available now at CMAchristmas.com. Fans in attendance are encouraged to bring a new toy (unwrapped) which the non-profit group Generosity will collect to give to Nashville kids.
