27 Recordings Added to the Grammy Hall of Fame

The 2014 Grammy Hall of Fame InducteesThe Recording Academy will be adding 27 recordings to the Grammy Hall of Fame, upping the total to 960 recordings included in the collection. The new recordings continue the Recording Academy’s mission to preserve and celebrate recordings at least 25 years old that are of “qualitative or historical significance.”

“Spanning the 1930s to the 1980s, this year’s GRAMMY Hall Of Fame entries represent a diverse collection of influential and historically significant recordings,” said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy. “Memorable and inspiring, these recordings are proudly added to our growing catalog — knowing that they have become a part of our musical, social, and cultural history.”
