CBS Announces 2014 The Amazing Race and Survivor Premiere Dates

The Amazing Race 2014 All-StarsCBS will be premiering a season full of The Amazing Race all-stars when the new edition of The Amazing Race kicks off on February 23, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT. 11 teams who’ve competed before will return to race around the globe in a quest for the $1 million grand prize. Phil Keoghan returns as host.
 
CBS also announced the premiere date of the 28th edition of Survivor. Survivor will premiere on February 26, 2014 at 8pm, debuting with a special two-hour premiere (the first two-hour premiere since Feb. 2010). According to the official announcement, this season “castaways will be separated into three distinct tribes—brawn, brains and beauty.” Seriously? The show is going to have a team put together based on looks?
 
The 27th season of Survivor averaged 11.58 million viewers.
