Voting is Open for the Country Music Entertainer of the Year Award

48th ACM AwardsVoting is now underway in the Entertainer of the Year and the ACM New Artist of the Year award categories. The Academy of Country Music just announced that Country music fans can now cast their votes for the winners at www.VoteACM.com. The winners will be announced during the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards to be held on April 7, 2013 in Las Vegas.
 
“Once again, fans have the power to vote for two of the ACM’s most exciting categories, and we’re proud to have great partners both in Ram Trucks and Kohl’s to help make it happen,” stated Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy of Country Music.
 
This year’s candidates for the Entertainer of the Year are Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift. The ACM New Artist of the Year nominees are Brantley Gilbert, Jana Kramer and Florida Georgia Line. New Artist of the Year voting ends at 8:00pm ET/5:00pm PT on Sunday, April 7, 2013. Entertainer of the Year voting closes during the third hour of the broadcast.
