The Bandito Brothers aren’t done with Act of Valor yet and will be working with Relativity and RelativityREAL to deliver a project for the small screen based on their surprise hit film. The Bandito Brothers and Relativity will be teaming up to develop an original series that they’ll be shopping to broadcast and cable networks.

Act of Valor featured real, active-duty Navy SEALs in a fictionalized look at their world. Filmed with live ammunition in explosive action scenes, and with the cooperation of the Navy, Act of Valor was made on a small budget of $12 million-ish and earned $73 million before leaving theaters. The film’s soundtrack also over-performed, reaching #1 on the Country album chart and #7 on the Top 100 albums chart.

“I was blown away by the realism and authenticity of Act of Valor. We’re thrilled to work with the Bandito Brothers to make something more visceral than any other show on television,” said RelativityREAL’s CEO, Tom Forman.

“We’re excited to be reuniting with Relativity again in order to develop this series and tell stories about real acts of valor in a unique and engaging way,” said Bandito Brothers.

There’s no word yet on when we might see an Act of Valor-inspired TV series or if active-duty SEALs will once again be involved in front of the camera.
