Disney and Lucasfilm’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story retained its hold on the top spot of the box office chart over the four-day New Year’s holiday weekend. The sequel/prequel has rung up $436 million domestically (a total of $789 million worldwide) since opening in theaters on December 16, 2016. Following in second place was Illumination Entertainment’s animated singing animals film, Sing, which has brought in $180 million domestically since being released in theaters on December 21st.

It’s possible Rogue One and Sing will finish one-two again over the January 6-8, 2017 weekend, but they’ll have to hold off the new release Underworld: Blood Wars as well as Hidden Figures and A Monster Calls, both expanding into wide release after limited 2016 runs.
