First time fiction film director Henry-Alex Rubin’s dramatic thriller Disconnect
has been chosen to open the 2013 Santa Barbara International Film Festival on January 24, 2013. The film stars Jason Bateman, Alexander Skarsgard, Hope Davis, Frank Grillo, Paula Patton, Michael Nyqvist, Andrea Riseborough, and Max Thieriot, and the festival reports the director as well as cast members (they didn’t specify who) are expected to attend the premiere.
