fun. Announce 2013 North American Tour Dates

fun. revealed the dates of their “Most Nights” summer tour set to kick off on July 6, 2013 in Toronto. The group will be headlining their biggest North American tour to date, with Tegan and Sara joining them on most dates of their summer tour.

fun.’s touring in support of their latest album, Some Nights, which was just certified platinum for selling more than 1 million records. And after finishing up the North American tour, they’ll head to Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and the United Kingdom.

Tickets go up for a special pre-sale for fans on February 6th at ournameisfun.com. General public tickets are available on February 15th. Portions of the band’s ticket sales will go to assist The Ally Coalition, “a partnership created by the band and designer Rachel Antonoff devoted to encouraging and inspiring the music, fashion, and entertainment communities to take action in support of LGBTQ equality.”

fun. made Grammy history this year as the first rock band to ever earn nominations in the top four categories (Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist). They’re scheduled to perform at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards on February 10th where they are also nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.
