Lone Survivor and Game of Thrones Win SAG Stunt Awards

The Screen Actors Guild is one of the only groups that actually recognizes the work of stunt artists in feature films and television shows with a stunt award. And although the film and TV stunt ensembles do not take the stage to accept their awards during the show, at least they’re honored for their accomplishments.
 
This year’s winners of the Outstanding Action Performances by Film and Television Stunt Ensembles went to Lone Survivor and Game of Thrones. The awards are given out to recognize both the stunt performers and coordinators, with 2,200 SAG-AFTRA members chosen to nominate the stunt ensembles and the 100,000 voting members of SAG-AFTRA actually voting for the winners.
