Hip-hop group TLC is the subject of an upcoming VH1 feature-length movie called Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story. The movie will be based on the life and career of the group and will star KeKe Palmer as Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, Lil Mama as Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Drew Sidora as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins.
Filming is set to take place in Atlanta in March.
Drumline director Charles Stone III has signed on to helm the biopic from a screenplay by Kate Lanier (What’s Love Got To Do With It).

We know our viewers will be eager to go beyond the headlines and into the surprisingly personal, never before told stories of these groundbreaking women.”
Chilli and T-Boz will executive produce the film.
