‘Hostages’ Series Preview: Plot Details, Cast and Trailer

Dylan McDermott and Toni Collette star in CBS’s one-hour drama, Hostages. The new series premieres on September 23, 2013.

Toni Collette plays Ellen Sanders and Dylan McDermott stars as Duncan Carlisle. The season one cast also includes Tate Donovan as Brian Sanders, Sandrine Holt as Sandrine, Rhys Coiro as Kramer, Billy Brown as Archer, and Quinn Shephard as Morgan Sanders. Mateus Ward plays Jake Sanders, James Naughton is President Kincaid, Kate Burton is Mary Kincaid, Jeremy Bobb is Quentin Creasy, Marquis Rodriguez is Kevin, and Lola Cook is Sawyer.

Additional cast members include Tyler Elliot Burke as Boyd, Lauren Kelly as Amelia, and Larry Pine as Burton Delaney.

The Synopsis: Hostages is a high-octane suspense drama about a premiere surgeon, Dr. Ellen Sanders, thrust into a chilling political conspiracy when her family is taken hostage by rogue an FBI Agent, Duncan Carlisle. Ellen and her family are held captive in their home by Carlisle, a desperate man doing the wrong thing for the right reasons, who orders her to assassinate the President when she operates on him. If she refuses, Duncan tells Ellen he will kill her entire family.
