‘Iron Fist’ Premiere Date and First Photo

Netflix just released a 15 second video to announce the Marvel’s Iron Fist premiere date. The super short video revealed Netflix has sete a March 17, 2017 at 12:01am PT premiere date for action series, and as usual will make all 13 one-hour of the episodes available at once for your viewing pleasure. In addition to confirming the premiere date, Netflix also unveiled the first photo featuring series star Finn Jones (Game of Thrones).


Iron Fist marks the fourth series in the deal between Marvel and Netflix. The deal kicked off with the launch of Daredevil starring Charlie Cox followed by Jessica Jones with Krysten Ritter and Luke Cage starring Mike Colter.

Discussing the series and Jones’ as the lead character, executive producer/showrunner Scott Buck said, “Danny Rand is a very complicated character. He’s a billionaire New York Buddhist monk martial arts superhero who’s still trying to figure out what exactly that all means. Finn is able to play all these levels in such an honest, revelatory way that as soon as I saw him I knew he was our Danny.”

The Iron Fist Plot: Billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
