Lisa Kudrow’s back as has-been actress Valerie Cherish in HBO’s long-awaited second season of the comedy series The Comeback. The second season is set nine years after The Comeback‘s first season and will have an eight-episode run.
The Comeback premieres on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT and the network’s just unveiled a new trailer for the series.
The Plot:
Valerie Cherish is a fading TV ‘It Girl’ who was once so desperate to stay in the spotlight that she allowed cameras to follow her every move as she appeared on a new sitcom – with disastrous results. Now, it’s ten years later, and Valerie thinks she has it all figured out this time. She doesn’t.
