The Hunger Games is the Big Winner at the People’s Choice Awards

The Amazing Spider-Man, The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and Snow White and the Huntsman really didn’t stand a chance when put up against The Hunger Games in the Favorite Movie category, did they? No, they didn’t. The Hunger Games wound up the evening’s big winner at the People’s Choice Awards 2013, collecting trophies in the following categories:
– Favorite Movie
– Favorite Movie Franchise
– Favorite Action Movie
– Favorite Onscreen Chemistry
– Favorite Movie Actress
– Favorite Face of Heroism
And the film’s stars – Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth – were on hand to accept the awards on behalf of the popular first film of the franchise.
