Fox’s social experiment/unscripted series Utopia is showing off a short teaser trailer that briefly introduces the people who’ve volunteered to start a new civilization specifically for the new series. Utopia will debut on Sunday, September 7, 2014 followed by additional episodes on September 9th and September 12th before it settles into its normal time slot of Tuesday nights at 8pm ET/PT.
The Plot:
The groundbreaking social experiment Utopia asks, “Does a perfect world exist?” From unscripted mastermind John de Mol (Deal Or No Deal, Fear Factor, The Voice, Big Brother), and based on the Dutch hit of the same name, Utopia is a bold new series that moves 15 everyday Americans to an isolated, undeveloped location – for an entire year – and challenges them to create their own civilization. Will it be ultimate happiness or utter chaos?
