New Clip from Austenland – “Unmentionables”

I hope the rest of the film is a little more interesting than this clip…

Sony Pictures Classics just picked up Austenland at Sundance, however most of the news articles about the acquisition highlighted the fact the film’s produced by Twilight author Stephenie Meyer rather than what the movie’s actually about. Directed by Jerusha Hess, the romantic comedy stars Keri Russell, Bret McKenzie, Jane Seymour, James Callis, Ricky Whittle and Jennifer Coolidge – and here’s what it’s actually about:

Austenland is a romantic comedy about 30-something, singe Jane Hayes, a seemingly normal young woman with a secret: her obsession with all things Jane Austen. But when she decides to spend her life savings on a trip to an English resort catering to Austen-crazed women, Jane’s fantasies of meeting the perfect Regency-era gentleman suddenly become more real than she ever could have imagined.”
