Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson of The Wedding Crashers reunite for the comedy movie The Internship in which they find themselves out of jobs and turning to internship opportunities at Google. And in Las Vegas to pick up the 2013 CinemaCon Comedy Duo of the Year Award from the National Association of Theatre Owners, they paired up again – this time to talk about the comedy coming to theaters on June 7, 2013 from 20th Century Fox.
In our interview, Vaughn and Wilson discuss The Internship, how they go about collaborating on dialogue, visiting Google, and their favorite comedy duos.
In The Internship, Vince and Owen are salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital world. Trying to prove they are not obsolete, they defy the odds by talking their way into a coveted internship at Google, along with a battalion of brilliant college students. But gaining entrance to this utopia is only half the battle. Now they must compete with a group of the nation’s most elite, tech-savvy geniuses to prove that necessity really is the mother of re-invention.
