True Blood Gets Two New Cast MembersDeadline’s reporting the sixth season of True Blood has added two pretty women to the show’s already huge cast. Jurnee Smollett will be playing Nicole Wright, a character who – according to Deadline – is “not concerned with money and more concerned with the common good and doing what’s right.”
Also joining the cast is Amelia Rose Blaire. Blaire will be playing the daughter of Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell (played by Arliss Howard). For now, Blaire’s role is in the recurring category.
HBO’s sexy vampire and shapeshifter series will return in June.
Blaire’s credits include 90210, Grimm, and Royal Pains. Smollett’s TV credits include Friday Night Lights and The Defenders. Her feature film credits include Eve’s Bayou, Gridiron Gang, The Great Debaters, and the 2013 film Tyler Perry’s Temptation.
