Netflix’s Our Souls at Night has released a new teaser trailer starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda. The one-minute teaser is dialogue-free, set to “A Sunday Kind of Love,” and features Redford and Fonda simply taking a ride in a truck. Directed by Ritesh Batra (The Sense of an Ending, The Lunchbox), Our Souls at Night is based on the bestselling book by Kent Haruf and was adapted by the screenwriting team of Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber (The Fault in Our Stars, The Spectacular Now). The cast of the romantic drama includes Bruce Dern, Matthias Schoenaerts, Judy Greer, and Iain Armitage. Netflix has set a September 29, 2017 limited theatrical release date.

Our Souls at Night marks the fourth film with Robert Redford and Jane Fonda as co-stars. Redford and Fonda previously worked together in 1979’s The Electric Horseman, 1967’s Barefoot in the Park, and 1966’s The Chase.

The Plot: Our Souls at Night is set in Colorado and begins when Addie Moore (Jane Fonda) pays an unexpected visit to a neighbor, Louis Waters (Robert Redford). Her husband died years ago, as did his wife, and in such a small town they’d been neighbors for decades, but had little contact. Their children live far away and they are all alone in their big houses. She seeks to establish a connection, and make the most of the rest of the time they have.
