Her single, “Call Me Maybe,” spawned a seemingly unstoppable viral video phenomenon and now Carly Rae Jepsen has capitalized on the song’s popularity with multiple award wins. The 26 year old Canadian singer (who placed 3rd on Canadian Idol in 2007) nabbed three MuchMusic Awards at the ceremony held on June 17, 2012 in Toronto.

Jepsen won for Video of the Year for, of course, “Call Me Maybe.” She also took home awards in the Most Watched Video and UR Fave Video categories.

Other winners included Marianas Trench (the group’s lead vocalist co-wrote “Call Me Maybe”) for “Fall Out” cinematography and Pop Video for “Haven’t Had Enough;” LMFAO for International Video of the Year – Group for “Sexy and I Know It;” Katy Perry for International Video and UR Fave International Artist for “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.);” and Justin Bieber for UR FAVE Artist or Group and International Video of the Year by a Canadian for “Boyfriend.”
