CBS announced Amber Tamblyn has been upped from guest star to a regular role on the network’s popular sitcom, Two and a Half Men, now in its 11th season. A producer, writer, and actress, Tamblyn’s no stranger to starring roles on TV, having tackled the lead in Joan of Arcadia from 2003 through 2005.

Her television credits also include The Unusuals, General Hospital, and House MD.

And for those who haven’t been keeping up with Two and a Half Men, here’s the description of Tamblyn’s character:

“Tamblyn plays Jenny, Charlie Harper’s illegitimate daughter who moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and to connect with what’s left of her family. Jenny’s now living in Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) beach house, along with her uncle Alan (Jon Cryer). She happens to like everything her dad liked – including women.”
