The 2014 Country Music Awards looked outside the Country genre for musical guests, confirming both Meghan Trainor and Ariana Grande will perform on this year’s awards show. Trainor, who’s currently sitting at the top of the charts, will team up with Miranda Lambert to duet on “All About That Bass.” Grande will join Little Big Town to perform live on stage at the awards show (what song they’ll be singing hasn’t been announced yet).
The 48th Annual CMA Awards will take place on November 5th with Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley back as hosts. Pretty Little Liars star/Country singer Lucy Hale will be among the presenters. Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, Paisley, Blake Shelton, The Band Perry, Underwood, and Keith Urban have already been announced as performers.
Country Music Association members determine the winners who will be announced live during the ABC special on November 5th.
