Beyonce Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z have a new addition to their family. The Grammy-winning singer gave birth to her first child on Saturday night, January 7th, at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. E! reports the baby has been named Blue Ivy Carter.
 
Beyonce and Jay-Z married in April 2008. Beyonce publicly announced her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
 
Rumors of the baby’s arrival have been flooding the internet for the past week, however E! and other outlets confirmed Ivy’s arrival on Saturday night.
