Today, Chris Hemsworth – star of Thor and its sequel, Snow White and the Huntsman, The Avengers, and Rush – had the honor of helping Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Cheryl Boone Isaacs announce some of the nominees for the 2014 Oscars. And, the Aussie actor has just revealed he and his wife Elsa Pataky are expecting twins. The couple looked gorgeous on the Golden Globes red carpet, with Pataky wearing a Paule Ka gown and Hemsworth lovingly touching her baby bump.
30-year-old Hemsworth and 37-year-old Pataky (‘Elena’ in the Fast and Furious franchise) married in 2010. Chris and Elsa already have a daughter, 20-month-old India Rose. Her new siblings will arrive sometime this spring.
And no, we don’t think the twins will be named Thor and Loki.
