‘Harry Potter’ Star Graduates from Brown University

Emma Watson’s all grown up and she has the college degree to prove it. Watson, who went from being a gangly kid to a beautiful young woman over the course of eight Harry Potter films, has graduated from Brown University.

The British actress will forever be best known to millions of Muggles for her portrayal of Hermione Granger in the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s bestselling book series. But on May 25, 2014, Watson’s work away from the camera took center stage as she donned her cap and gown and joined 2,000 other Brown students to graduate from the Ivy League university. While starring in films including Perks of Being a Wallflower and Noah, Watson managed to keep up with her studies and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature.

Here’s the photo she tweeted on graduation day:

Congrats Emma!
