…and we like Gerard Butler, otherwise the press release would have triggered a ‘delete’ response. The press release being discussed had an eye-catching headline that, at a quick glance, made it appear as though the talented Scot had landed a new film role. But no, that wasn’t the case. Actually, the press release was all about the Geneva-based fine watchmaker Roger Dubuis and how Butler’s enamored with the company’s watches. Butler even took a tour of the manufacturing facilities and said he was “blown away” by it all.
“Watch making is just like the cinema, it hides a precise mechanism which must then generate emotion,” stated Butler. “The world of Roger Dubuis, the arrival of its collections, like spaces of freedom, perfectly matches my principles. You need to take chances in life. And always push yourself.”
