Oklahoma-born Blake Shelton is teaming up with NBC to host the Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert set to air live on May 29, 2013 at 9pm ET. The special fundraising event will take place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City and will raise funds for the United Way of Central Oklahoma’s May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

In addition to airing on NBC, the concert will be televised on Style, G4, Bravo, E! and CMT. Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Reba and Vince Gill are all confirmed to perform, with additional acts to be announced shortly.

Shelton previously raised money for the victims of the Atoka County, Oklahoma tornadoes that wreaked havoc on the area back in 2011. Two Tornado Relief Concerts raised over $500,000 for those victims, and now Shelton’s ready to assist those affected by the recent deadly tornado. “Everyone has their way to help, and mine as an entertainer is to perform to help raise money and awareness for this tragedy,” Shelton said. “This is why I want to do this special and especially hold it in Oklahoma City, which is near ground zero.”

Tickets go on sale on May 25th at 10am CT via Ticketmaster.com and at the Chesapeake Energy Arena box office. The charge is $25 per ticket with a maximum of eight per person.
