**Jennifer Lopez Says American Idol Helped Her Grow as an Artist**

In an interview with MTV News, former American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez explains what it was like to critique other artists. Lopez says that while giving constructive criticism, she actually absorbed some of her own advice and in turn the experience helped her grow as an artist.
