Here she is – this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Model is Kate Upton. The issue hit newsstands today with Upton’s Sydney photo shoot gracing the cover. And while this isn’t really movie, TV, or music news, it seems to be important to a lot of men (my husband included) and so only because it’s Valentine’s Day and who am I to deny anyone their happiness on what’s supposed to be the most romantic day of the year, we’re devoting a post to the SI issue and featuring Upton’s pictures.
SI photographer Walter Iooss Jr. shot the 19 year old Melbourne, Florida model who is making her second appearance in a SI Swimsuit issue. Other models showing off lots of skin on the pages of the Swimsuit issue include Bar Refaeli, Irina Shayk, Cintia Dicker, Jessica Gomes, Izabel Goulart, Julie Henderson, Ariel Meredith, Alyssa Miller, Genevieve Morton, Chrissy Teigen and Anne V.
