Orion Pictures has released a new 45 second video clip from the holiday zombie musical comedy, Anna and the Apocalypse. The short clip features a zombie janitor stuck in a toilet stall who meets her final death at the hands of two women who use a toilet seat as a weapon.
The zombie musical stars Ella Hunt (Our Robot Overlords), Mark Benton (The Halcyon), Paul Kaye (Game of Thrones), Malcolm Cumming, Ben Wiggins, Sarah Swire (God Help the Girl), Christopher Leveaux (Forgotten Man), and Marli Siu (Dixi).
The zom-com was directed by John McPhail (Where Do We Go From Here) from a script by Alan McDonald and Ryan McHenry (writer/director of Zombie Musical). Naysun Alae-Carew, Nicholas Crum, and Tracy Jarvis produced the R-rated holiday comedy. Roddy Hart and Tommy Reilly wrote Anna and the Apocalypse‘s original music.
The behind the scenes team includes director of photography Sara Deane, editor Mark Hermida, production designer Ryan Clachrie, and costume designer Fi Morrison.
Orion Pictures is targeting a November 30, 2018 release in limited theaters followed by a nationwide release on December 7th.
The Anna and the Apocalypse Plot:
“A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven – at Christmas – forcing Anna (Ella Hunt) and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that on one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other…”
