Annabelle, that terrifying doll from The Conjuring, is back with her own horror movie starring Annabelle Wallis, Alfre Woodard, Ward Horton, Tony Amendola, Eric Ladin, and Brian Howe. Annabelle‘s an origin tale that unravels the mystery of the possessed doll and the family she lived with prior to being removed from a private home and kept under lock and key at paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren’s house in The Conjuring.
Coming to theaters on October 3, 2014, Annabelle was directed by The Conjuring‘s cinematographer John R. Leonetti from a script by Gary Dauberman. The Conjuring director James Wan and Peter Safran produced the horror spinoff.
