Anne Hathaway Shows Class While Answering a Dumb Question

Anne Hathaway had an unfortunate incident at the premiere of the big screen musical, Les Miserables. While exiting a car, Hathaway accidentally showed off a little more than she meant to and a photographer was on hand to capture the embarrasing moment.

Hathaway was then asked by Matt Lauer about the incident during an interview on Today that was supposed to center on her role in Les Mis but that instead kicked off with the wardrobe malfunction question.

Lauer asked, “What’s the lesson learned from something like that? Other than that, you keep smiling, which you always do.”

To which Hathaway replied, “Well, it was obviously an unfortunate incident. I think it kind of made me sad on two accounts. One was that I was very sad that we live in an age when someone takes a picture of another person in a vulnerable moment and rather than delete it, and do the decent thing, sells it. And I’m sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants, which brings us back to Les Mis…”
