‘Assassin’s Creed’ Trailer Starring Michael Fassbender

It’s finally here! The trailer for Assassin’s Creed is finally online for fans of the video game and/or Michael Fassbender to check out. Based on the popular Ubisoft video game, the action adventure film is directed by Justin Kurzel and produced by Fassbender, Jean-Julien Baronnet, Gérard Guillemot, Frank Marshall, Patrick Crowley, Conor McCaughan, and Arnon Milchan. The cast also includes Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson, and Michael K. Williams. 20th Century Fox and New Regency will open Assassin’s Creed in theaters on December 21, 2016.

Fassbender, Cotillard, and director Kurzel previously worked together on Macbeth.

The Plot: Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
