The future of humanity is in Jennifer Lopez’s hands in the teaser trailer for Atlas. Netflix’s launch of the first teaser was accompanied by the release of the first photo and teaser poster.
The sci-fi action thriller also stars Simu Liu (one of Barbie‘s lead Kens), Oscar nominee Sterling K. Brown (American Fiction), Gregory J. Cohan (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Abraham Popoola (Andor), Lana Parrilla (Once Upon a Time), and Mark Strong (Murder Mystery 2). Brad Peyton (Rampage) directs from a screenplay by Leo Sardarian and Aron Eli Coleite.
“Atlas Shepherd (Lopez), a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past,” reads Netflix’s synopsis. “But when plans go awry, her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it.”
