‘Blink Twice’ Trailer: Zoe Kravitz Makes Her Directorial Debut with a Suspense Thriller

Channing Tatum stars in Zoë Kravitz’s feature film directorial feature debut, Blink Twice. Tatum plays a billionaire who owns a private island where deeply disturbing things happen. Visitors know something is wrong about the resort, but can’t seem to remember what’s actually going on.

Joining Tatum (Kravitz’s real-life partner) are Naomi Ackie (Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody), Christian Slater (The Spiderwick Chronicles), Simon Rex (Red Rocket), and Adria Arjona (Hit Man). Kyle MacLachlan (Fallout), Haley Joel Osment (Somebody I Used to Know), Geena Davis (GLOW), and Alia Shawkat (Search Party) also star.

“When tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise,” reads Amazon MGM Studios’ synopsis. “Wild nights blend into sun-soaked days and everyone’s having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She’ll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive.”

Zoë Kravitz and E.T. Feigenbaum wrote the screenplay, and Kravitz, Tatum, Bruce Cohen, Tiffany Persons, and Garret Levitz serve as producers. Stacy Perskie, Jordan Harkins, and Vania Schlogel executive produce.

Blink Twice is set to open in theaters on August 23, 2024.
