Justin Bieber Continues to Support Bully

Bully finally – after a lengthy battle – won the rating’s war and will be released as a PG-13 documentary, meaning the film will be able to be screened to the high school students who will most benefit from the documentary’s message. And while the rating’s battle is now over, the celebrities who came out in support of the film are continuing to promote Bully and the importance of fighting bullying wherever it exists.

Justin Bieber’s one of the celebs who lent his support to The Weinstein Company’s Bully, and he’s continuing to be involved as the film heads toward its theatrical release this Friday. Bieber’s allowing TWC to use his song “Born to Be Somebody” in Bully‘s new TV spot.

“My fans are always up for supporting a great cause. It’s one of the things I’m most proud of as an entertainer,” said Bieber. “I hope they see Bully with their friends and help start the conversation so we can end bullying.”

“We’re honored that Justin has decided to support this film and the movement that surrounds it,” said TWC President of Marketing Stephen Bruno.

Other celebs supporting Bully include Ellen DeGeneres, Meryl Streep, Victoria Justice, Giuliana Rancic, Joel McHale, Anderson Cooper, Kelly Ripa, and Tommy Hilfiger.
