The 24th Bond Film Has an Official Title and Confirmed Cast

We’ll no longer have to refer to the upcoming James Bond movie as Bond 24 as producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson announced the official, confirmed title is Spectre. Filming will get underway on the latest James Bond movie on December 8, 2014 with Daniel Craig back in the lead role as Bond, James Bond for the fourth time.

Sam Mendes is directing Spectre from a script by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade. In addition to Craig, the cast features returning Bond players Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnear. New to the world of Bond are Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci, and Andrew Scott.

“We’re excited to announce Daniel’s fourth installment in the series and thrilled that Sam has taken on the challenge of following on the success of Skyfall with Sppectre,” said Bond producers Broccoli and Wilson.

Spectre will shoot at Pinewood Studios and in Austria, London, Mexico City, Rome, and Morocco.

EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment are releasing Spectre in theaters on November 6, 2015.

The Spectre Plot:

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
