Marvel Studios dropped trailer #2 for Deadpool & Wolverine and it more than lives up to expectations. There’s R-rated banter, plenty of insults, a little bit of the story, and lots of shared onscreen time with the titular characters.
“It took seven years and a lot of begging but my Deadpool 2 end credit dreams finally came true,” tweeted Reynolds. Reynolds posted the trailer on his social with the caption: “Found the guy who killed Bambi’s mom.” Jackman responded with, “Good to see Dopey still getting work.”
Reynolds reprises his role as Deadpool and Jackman’s back as Wolverine. They’re joined by Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen. Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, and Shawn Levy wrote the screenplay, and Shawn Levy directed.
Reynolds, Levy, Kevin Feige, and Lauren Shuler Donner produced, with Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, George Dewey, and Simon Kinberg executive producing.
Deadpool & Wolverine opens in theaters on July 26, 2024.
