Devil’s Knot is the first feature film about the West Memphis Three, although the wrongly convicted trio were the subjects of a series of critically acclaimed documentaries. The dramatic feature film is based on the story of Damien Echols, Jesse Misskelley Jr, and Jason Baldwin, the three men who, as teenagers, were sent to prison after being convicted of the murders of three young boys. Directed by Atom Egoyan (Where the Truth Lies), the cast is led by Colin Firth and Reese Witherspoon and includes Dane DeHaan, Bruce Greenwood, Mireille Enos, Amy Ryan, Alessandro Nivola, and Stephen Moyer.
Image Entertainment is releasing Devil’s Knot on May 9, 2014.
The Plot:
