The full trailer for Die My Love is a twisted treat, teasing the tone without giving away too much. What the two-minute trailer does reveal is that the film is powered by a mesmerizing performance by Jennifer Lawrence.
The R-rated drama sits at 78% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes following its 2025 Cannes Film Festival premiere. Daily Telegraph notes, “No one does bored rage quite like Jennifer Lawrence,” while Time Magazine’s Stephanie Zacharek writes, “What Lawrence does in Die My Love is so delicately textured, even within its bold expressiveness, and its fiery anger, that it leaves you scrambling for adjectives.”
Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson lead a cast that includes LaKeith Stanfield,
Nick Nolte, and Sissy Spacek. Enda Walsh, Lynne Ramsay, and Alice Birch adapted Ariana Harwicz’s novel, with Ramsay directing.
“The film follows Grace (Lawrence) and her partner Jackson (Pattinson), who have recently moved into an old house deep in the country. With ambitions to write The Great American Novel, Grace settles into her new environment, and the couple welcome a baby soon after,” reads MUBI’s synopsis. “However, with Jackson frequently—and suspiciously—absent, and the pressures of domestic life starting to weigh on her, Grace begins to unravel, leaving a path of destruction in her wake.”
Andrea Calderwood, Justine Ciarrocchi, and Jennifer Lawrence served as producers along with Thad Luckinbill, Trent Luckinbill, Martin Scorsese, and Molly Smith.
Die My Love opens in theaters on November 7, 2025.
