First Look: The Fault in Our Stars Trailer

If the entire film is as faithful to the bestselling book by John Green as the clips soon in this 2 1/2 minute official trailer are, then The Fault in Our Stars is going to please fans of the heart-wrenching novel. The two leads – Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort – seem to have real chemistry, are pretty much as described in Green’s book, and the tone matches that of the novel.
 
The cast also includes Laura Dern, Nat Wolff, Sam Trammell, and Mike Birbiglia.
 
The Plot:
 
Hazel and Gus are two extraordinary teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them — and us – on an unforgettable journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous, given that they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.
