‘Fighting with My Family’ Final Trailer Starring Dwayne Johnson, Lena Headey and Florence Pugh

MGM has released the final trailer for the comedy film, Fighting with My Family. The film’s based on a true story and was written, directed, and produced by Stephen Merchant. Merchant also plays a supporting role in the 2019 release.

The cast includes Florence Pugh (The Little Drummer Girl), Lena Headey (Game of Thrones), Nick Frost (Into the Badlands), Jack Lowden (Mary Queen of Scots), Vince Vaughn, and Dwayne Johnson (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle). Johnson pulled double duty as a producer with Kevin Misher, Dany Garcia, and Michael J. Luisi. Andy Berman, Hiram Garcia, Daniel Battsek, Tracey Josephs, David Kosse, and Rhodri Thomas executive produced.

Discussing why she signed on to play WWE Superstar Paige in the film, Florence Pugh said, “I love her story of empowerment, as well as her feistiness and funkiness. I had to be a part of this film, which is about this young woman finding the strength to follow her dreams – and succeeding.”

Fighting with My Family opened in select theaters in Los Angeles and New York on February 14, 2019 and will expand into wide release on February 22nd. The MPAA’s rated the comedy PG-13 for crude and sexual material, language throughout, some violence and drug content.

The Plot:

Fighting with My Family is a heartwarming comedy based on the incredible true story of WWE Superstar Paige™. Born into a tight-knit wrestling family, Paige and her brother Zak are ecstatic when they get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to try out for WWE. But when only Paige earns a spot in the competitive training program, she must leave her family and face this new, cut-throat world alone. Paige’s journey pushes her to dig deep, fight for her family, and ultimately prove to the world that what makes her different is the very thing that can make her a star.”
